An Evening With Bobby Ball  is on Saturday 9th October 2010.

Bobby_BallKnown more recently for his antics in the jungle on I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here, Bobby Ball is perhaps better known as half of one of Great Britain’s funniest and most successful double acts, Cannon Ball.

Despite achieving great success, for Bobby life was as mad off stage as on; he started drinking, womanizing and getting into fights. A rift with his co-star Tommy meant that for four years off-stage the pair weren't even on speaking terms.

However, through the witness of a good friend, Bobby started thinking about God: "I wanted to know God but I didn't want to become like many of the Christians I had seen. Most of them didn't seem to have a good life at all. After all, who wants to walk through a graveyard full of dead people to meet the living God?" But when he finally asked Jesus into his life, Bobby started to cry: "I knew then that God was real and he was alive." His life changed so much that those closest to him (his wife, daughter, and his co-star Tommy) decided that God was for them too.

Bobby will be telling his life story as only Bobby can – through laughter, fun and tears in what promises to be another fantastic Saturday night in Lancaster! Doors open at 7pm
