Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth - Ecclesiastes 12:1

The youth ministry team’s mission statement is based on LFM’s “The Church We See” and it shows a lot about what we believe and hope to achieve; it goes like this…“Our youth ministry exists to PROCLAIM God’s Word to people from all walks of life, to see people’s lives TRANSFORMED to be like Christ, to see them GROW CLOSER because of Him, to pro-actively SERVE others and to learn, together, to HONOUR God.”

The LAUNCH - Monday evenings at 7.30pm-9.00pm, The LAUNCH is a chance to meet up with other 11-14 year olds and have a ball. We always kick off with some rather crazy games, mind bending workshops, fabulous free time and top it off with a gospel message. There is a 50p entrance fee and don’t forget some extra money for the tuck shop. This is a great meeting to bring your friends to, its relaxed, friendly and great for a laugh.

BLAST - Sunday Mornings during the service young people of school years 6 and above meet together to study the Bible, learn new things, eat snacks and have a lot of fun. So far this year we’ve explored what the Bible teaches about the Holy Spirit, looked at the Passover and its connections with Easter, thrown around some ideas about current world issues and, in the process, devoured and estimated 150 bags of crisps….!!
