In Acts, we see the phrase on a number of occasions “and God added to their number.” Although we don’t have specific details about how the early church organised itself, clearly there was some form of church organisation.

Then in the 1700’s, the Wesley revival saw God at work in people’s lives in amazing ways. Thousands of people came to faith, and to help the church care effectively for people John Wesley introduced church membership to help the church support, disciple and shepherd the flock.

Here at LFM we too approach membership as a two way relationship, a partnership between people and their church, and if you are a Christian who wants to make LFM your spiritual home we would like to invite you to partner with us in our mission as a church. This leaflet is designed to give you a basic introduction to partnership with LFM.
